Experience the historical marvel of the Acropolis before sailing to Tinos Island, where we explore countryside paths, beaches, and white-washed villages. Returning to the mainland, we journey to ancient Delphi, then to the sandstone towers and monasteries of Meteora. Farther north we arrive at the Pindos Mtns, where ancient pathways take us through alpine meadows, dense forests and traditional stone villages of Zagoria. Most walks range 4 to 7 miles and frequently are on uneven stone paths. Applicants should be in good physical condition and expect hill walking.

Cost (beginning and ending in Athens): $2,520 with Sierra Club membership # (10-14 participants). Add $25 for non-members. Includes inns/hotels at double occupancy with private baths ($280 single supplement), all meals (beverages extra), and all transportation within Greece, including flight from northern Greece back to Athens.
